This case study demonstrates my ability to design scalable API products, manage complex multi-stakeholder integrations, and deliver measurable business impact in a regulated healthcare environment.
OVERVIEW
I designed and launched a RESTful API that automated patient enrollment data exchange between Better Therapeutics and three major health system partners. The API eliminated manual data entry, enrolled 1000+ patients, and created a scalable integration framework that could onboard new partners with minimal code changes.
THE CHALLENGE
Better Therapeutics was running clinical studies with multiple health system partners (CPC, MGB, and Phil), but patient enrollment data was siloed. The core question: How do we create a flexible API that serves multiple partners with different needs while maintaining data integrity and security?
MY ROLE
As Product Manager, I:

Mapped the complete patient journey from recruitment through treatment activation across all partners

Defined API specifications, including endpoints, request methods, authentication, and error handling
